Mnesium — Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 — 27 September 2026
Mnesium collects nothing
There is no account, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting. Apart from the update check described below, the Publisher receives no data from your use of the application.
Checking for updates
To learn whether a newer version exists, Mnesium reads a small file on mnesium.com — regularly if you allowed it when Mnesium asked, or when you choose Check for Updates — and, once you accept an update, downloads it from there. Like any web request, this tells the server your network address, the version of the application and your preferred language, along with the standard technical details of any request. Nothing about your data, your projects or your conversations is sent. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings.
Where your data lives
In a single database file on your Mac, inside the application's support folder. Everything Mnesium captures — your Claude conversations, your notes, your project memory — stays there.
Deleting the application's data folder deletes all of it. Nothing is held anywhere else.
What Mnesium reads
The transcripts of the Claude sessions you already run, from the folders you explicitly designate at first launch. It reads nothing you have not designated, and you can revoke that access at any time in macOS System Settings.
What Mnesium does not do, and what it triggers
This is the distinction that matters, and it is the reason this policy is not simply "nothing leaves your Mac".
Apart from the update check, Mnesium transmits nothing on its own behalf. But it operates Claude Code on your machine, under your own Anthropic account — and the content of those conversations reaches Anthropic exactly as it would if you had run the same command yourself in a terminal. That exchange is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy and by your agreement with them, not by this one.
The same applies to any other AI provider you configure yourself.
Purchases
Handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record. Paddle holds your billing details under its own privacy policy.
The Publisher receives your email address in order to issue your licence and to support it, and uses it for nothing else — no mailing list, no marketing, no transfer to third parties.
Your licence key
Your key carries the email address used at purchase, and the application displays it. It is stored on your Mac and verified offline, against a key embedded in the application. Verifying your licence sends nothing.
Writing to us
Help ▸ Send Feedback opens a message in your own mail app, addressed to hello@mnesium.com and pre-filled with the versions of Mnesium and of macOS. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself. What you write is used to answer you and to improve Mnesium, and for nothing else.
Your rights
The Publisher holds no personal data about you beyond the email address attached to your licence and the messages you choose to send us. You may contact us to obtain, correct or delete it. Data held by Paddle is requested from Paddle.
Everything else Mnesium holds is on your own machine, under your own control.
Changes to this policy
The version you accepted is recorded in the application, with its date. A material change asks for your acceptance again.
